BMS Submits Memorandum Amid Heavy Rains in Gonda

Gonda: Despite heavy rainfall, office-bearers and workers of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) district unit and the North Eastern Railway Shramik Sangh staged a demonstration in Gonda on Monday as part of a nationwide agitation called by the BMS.

The protest focused on various demands and grievances concerning employees. During the demonstration, union representatives submitted a memorandum through the District Magistrate, addressed to the Prime Minister, Union Finance Minister and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.

Through the memorandum, the unions sought prompt action to resolve employees’ pending issues and address their long-standing demands. The representatives stressed the need for timely intervention and concrete measures to resolve the concerns raised by workers.

Union leaders said the heavy rain did not deter the participants, who remained united and took part in the agitation with determination. They described the strong participation as a reflection of the workers’ solidarity and commitment to their demands.

The BMS expressed gratitude to all office-bearers and workers for their participation and contribution towards making the programme successful.
